Batch Processing Audio

Batch processing lets you analyse many files at once. This is useful for full shoot days, sound rolls, scene folders, or exports from production recorders.

Before running a batch, organise the files into a predictable structure and remove anything you do not want processed. LTC Magic will work more clearly when the source folder contains only relevant production audio and related metadata.

After processing, review the batch summary. Files may be marked as successful, skipped, unreadable, partially decoded, or requiring attention. Do not ignore warnings simply because the batch completed. A completed batch means the process ran; it does not guarantee every file is perfect.

For large jobs, process one day or roll at a time. This makes validation easier and helps isolate any recorder, frame rate, or folder issues.
