Privacy and Local Processing

Audio files are never uploaded. LTC Magic processes your audio and pictures locally on your Mac. Timecode Stamping, LTC Cut Splitter, PolyWAV Splitter, Timeline Builder and Burnt-in Timecode do not send media to a cloud service.

Licensing requests send a pseudonymous Keychain device identifier, your Mac’s sharing name and your licence key. Licence activation and validation require an internet connection; update checks and support diagnostics may also use network access.

You should still follow your production’s security requirements. Keep sensitive media in approved storage locations, avoid unnecessary file sharing, and remove test exports when they are no longer needed.
