First Run Setup

The first time you open LTC Magic, the app may ask for permission to access files and folders. These permissions allow it to read your source audio and write exported deliverables. LTC Magic does not need cloud access to process your media.

Before starting your first job, it is worth checking a few settings:

1. Confirm your default export location.
2. Choose your preferred timeline format, if available.
3. Set your expected frame rate.
4. Review how grouped tracks should be handled.
5. Decide whether outputs should be written beside the source media or into a separate deliverables folder.

If you are unsure, start with a small test folder containing a few representative files. This lets you confirm the workflow before processing a full shoot day or session.
