First Run Setup
The first screen is Overview. Choose the tool that matches the files you have. macOS may ask for permission to read those files. Allow access to the source folder and to the folder where the new files should go. Audio and picture files are never uploaded.
- Timecode Stamping, if the WAVs need a start timecode from an LTC channel.
- LTC Cut Splitter, if one LTC recording jumps and you need a WAV per continuous run.
- PolyWAV Splitter, if one multichannel WAV should become one mono WAV per channel.
- Timeline Builder, if you have Timeline XML or an AAF plus a Stereo mix WAV.
- Burnt-in Timecode, if the sequence timecode is already visible on a picture.
Set the frame rate before you stamp or scan. Use a separate output folder. Try one short recording first: two or three WAVs, or a minute of picture, is enough to see the bext value or the first FCPXML cut.
