Supported File Types

LTC Magic is designed for production audio workflows and commonly supports WAV and Broadcast WAV files. Support for other formats may depend on the app version and export settings.

For best results, use uncompressed production audio such as WAV or BWF. Compressed formats can sometimes damage or obscure LTC signals, especially if the timecode was recorded as an audio tone.

If a file fails to process, check whether it is supported, whether the audio is readable by the operating system, and whether the LTC channel is present.
