Preparing a Session
Good preparation makes the rest of the workflow faster and safer.
Start by collecting the audio files for one project, shoot day, roll, or scene into a dedicated folder. Avoid mixing test files, old exports, reference bounces, and unrelated media in the same processing folder.
Confirm the project frame rate before decoding LTC. If you are unsure, check with the production sound mixer, editor, camera reports, or project settings.
If possible, keep a copy of the original audio untouched. Work from duplicates or let LTC Magic write outputs into a separate folder. This keeps the source material clean and makes it easier to recover if settings need to change.
